ABSTRACT

Mucormycosis is a fungal infection commonly seen in Indian population, in which aggressive surgical intervention to cut away the infected tissue becomes necessary. This may cause disfigurement and leave open wounds which requires prosthetic replacement for psychological benefit and also protect the inner soft tissues of the patient which are exposed to the foreign bodies. Mucormycosis has shown a sudden surge in recent times associated with patients affected by Covid-19. It is a rare but serious complication which can cause loss of eye, nose and associated structures leaving the patient disfigured. The aim of this case report is to describe an economic but effective nonsurgical treatment option to restore the facial defect using acrylic resin baseplate to enhance retention by using the available undercuts and was packed using silicone material. The prosthesis was retained mechanically and omitted the use of any retentive aids such as the use of spectacles or implants.

ABSTRACT

A "cytokine storm" is characterized by an increase in the release of many cytokines that cause lung tissue fibrosis and long-term damage. This disorder is distinguished by a rise in the total quantity of cytokines that are discharged into the bloodstream. It is not quite obvious if these changes occurred as a consequence of the immunomodulation that the medication provided or of the disease process itself. In addition, additional study is necessary to shed light on the possible connection that exists between these inflammatory markers and the development and severity of COVID-19. The current analysis was to report changes in the inflammatory markers in symptomatic COVID-19 patients and to link such changes with severity and prognosis. ABSTRACT

Artificial intelligence (AI)/digital employees, or metaphorical software robots (bots), are the foundation of the business process automation technology known as robotic process automation (RPA). The term "software robotics" has been used sometimes (not to be confused with robot software). Using internal application programming interfaces (APIs) or specialized scripting languages, a software developer creates a set of steps to automate a job and interface to the back-end system in conventional workflow automation technologies. RPA systems, on the other hand, create the action list by seeing the user carry out the job in the graphical user interface (GUI) of the programme, and then carry out the automation by repeating those actions directly in the GUI. In products that may not normally have APIs for this purpose, this can lessen the barrier to the usage of automation. Nowadays, monitoring every day covid status is not possible for an individual. So, the plan is to send an updated covid status through email automatically to the end users by using Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The main goal of this paper is to send corona information to the end users who are in need of covid details. For this, the end user wants to provide their email id and country name which they want to know about. The rest of the RPA process will be done by the bot using data scraping. Then email automation will be done to send email automatically. It is easy to check the required particular data from the cluster of data. It is easy to read and understand for all end users. ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused more than 48 million cases and 800,000 deaths in the United States. Mississippi (MS) is one of the hardest-hit states with a high incidence and mortality compared to the US national average. This paper explores the relationship of MS county-level COVID-19-related incidence and mortality (through December 2, 2021) with the Center for Disease Control's Social Vulnerability Index (CDC SVI). The CDC SVI consists of four major subthemes: [1] socio-economic status, [2] household composition and disability, [3] minority status and language, and finally, [4] housing type and transportation. We found that the overall SVI ranking has a statistically significant association with reported COVID-19 cumulative mortality at the county level. Among the SVI subthemes, subtheme 1 (socio-economic status) and subtheme 2 (household composition and disability) showed a significant relationship with incidence and mortality (p < 0.05). The results of our analysis will assist in understanding the spatial relationship between CDC SVI themes and the health effects of COVID-19 in MS and the surrounding areas.
